  Faith Formation

Mission: Faith Formation cultivates and enriches the faith and spiritual lives of parish members as well as those seeking to enter the Church by providing catechesis based on solid, Catholic doctrine.

For Kindergarten to 8th Grade Faith Formation contact Kathy Fech

Saint Joseph Parish offers Faith Formation classes for children in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade who are not enrolled in our parish school. In addition to regular classes, this will include sacramental preparation for those needing to receive Reconciliation, Eucharist, and/or Confirmation. Classes are held on Saturday mornings from 10-11:30 am from September to May.

Faith Formation classes are meant to enhance and supplement an active faith life that is lived out in the home through prayer, regular reception of the sacraments, and open dialogue regarding the Catholic faith. The staff and volunteers are here to assist you in helping parents fulfill their baptismal promise to serve as their child’s primary catechist in the faith. Faith Formation students (and their parents) are expected to attend Mass on all Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation.

We are always looking for excellent volunteers to serve as catechists, classroom aides, and help with mailings and other clerical duties. Contact the director to see how you can assist us.
